Redwood Asylum (emeritus)[Redwood Asylum (emeritus)] Re-worked the TypePad test site several times, dumping the earlier partial import and loading the full 1700 post file. TypePad isn't nearly as flexible as Movable Type, but I don't think I need extensive customization.

Left in the West: If you’re a new blogger looking to go cheap, but running your own domain, WordPress is the only real solution in my mind. If you’re willing to throw down cash, there may be some advantages to Movable Type, but I haven’t used it since they started charging. (via Cosmos)
