[ELSUA ~ A KM Blog Thinking Outside The Inbox by Luis Suarez] How to Get in Touch for the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin - Join the ...: As you would be able to see, plenty of choices and opportunities to get a flavour of what the Web 2.0 Expo in Berlin would be like, but I can certainly tell you one thing, not matter how much great content gets shared across the board, what would be the killer event or happening for me would eventually be the usual suspect, the networking with fellow colleagues (Did you know that almost my entire team is going to be there! As well as some of the most well known IBM Social Software evangelists who I have the great pleasure of hanging out with for the last few years?), as well as social media consultants, some of the other players in the field, amongst many other thought leaders in the space of Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0.
[lawyerkm] All My Clients Come From Twitter | Knowledge Management: Twitter shouldn’t be seen as a billboard on which lawyers declare their ability to trounce insurance companies and win large settlements for injured clients. It should be a way for lawyers to engage in conversations and form relationships, which may lead to trust, confidence, and maybe — just maybe —

[Diary of a post graduate] Annotated Bibliography A to B: Each stands in its own right, and generates its own distinctive approach to the analysis of social life. The authors provide extensive reviews of the four paradigms, tracing the evolution and inter-relationships between the various sociological schools of thought within each. They then proceed to relate theories of organisation to this wider background. This book covers a great range of intellectual territory.
[LawyerKM] The Right Tool for the Job | Knowledge Management: Sometimes it’s hard to figure out which tool to use. Email is so popular that it has become the default. This is because people are self-centered (present company not excluded). Many people think that their emails are read as soon as they click “send,” irrespective of the time of day or night or other circumstances. In fairness to the self-centered senders, however, we’ve brought this expectation upon ourselves by immediately responding to email at all hours. (Do you keep your BlackBerry on your nightstand?)
