Could have been a contender: I even have a fully-written (perl based) letter writing application sitting on my hard disk (based - though updated - on a lot of stuff I wrote in my spare time while at Britain in Europe). I want to make it AJAX friendly though, as I don’t think many users will accept the old style click-load a page -click-load another page model for much longer and people did complain about its alleged complexity even in the BiE days. Olympia Time: Also turns out this is against the rules (for Democrats, Republicans and theoretical Libertarians) and he is being asked to take them down. Turns out that the legislative caucus websites basically become blank during campaign season so as not to run imply that state money is being used for campaigns. (via Cosmos)

elect prosperity: Both programs offer similar features, but most notable is how the GOP uses a homepage as its base (think MySpace), while the DNC's new tool looks a whole lot like The Facebook. Why re-invent the wheel, when it already runs so smoothly? (via Cosmos)
Hotline On Call: *The DNC has put all of its action tools under the Party Builder, except for the blog which can be accessed via the main home page too. Even in that group, whose entire MySpace page is devoted to their MyGop campaign, only 405 out of 15,000 have corssed over to join the official GOP effort. (via Cosmos)
