[Computer Toaster] Ive evaluated dozens of alternatives, but Ive found nothing that can hold a candle to Yahoo Store. That said, I remember years ago, before I understood the power of the Yahoo platform, a prospective client asked me about the Yahoo solution. No offense to the folks at Yahoo, but I figured it was a Mickey Mouse, template-based, mass-market solution that was not worth considering. Its a good thing that Im an open-minded person, because once I took the time to properly evaluate the software, I recognized its true potential.

[Blog.exclusiveconcepts.com] The Online Marketing Blog: March 2005 Archives: To me this is telling us that people "Read" pictures. They process the picture not as a whole, but instead take in various parts. You can use this effect to benefit your online marketing efforts by making your pictures relevant to the message, as opposed to just putting up a photo of three people staring in amazement at a TPS report behind a computer monitor (stock photos are generally the early signs of a cancerous online marketing campaign). These techniques may get you short-term results but many are considered the equivalent of "spamming" and could get your site de-listed. From a search engine providers point of view, anything that gets better results for sites with inferior content (and fit) is compromising their product and is temporary until they tune their algorithm so that it correctly ranks your site (down).
