The Conference covered the following themes: best practices in institutional framework building, e-government and citizen participation, freedom of information and data privacy, e-commerce, cyber-crime and cyber-security legislation, new media influence on policy: digital switch, building synergy: bridging the gap eEU-eSEE, gender evaluation of it projects, online journalism, blogging and other new media, freedom of expression on the internet, e-accessibility: inclusion of people with disabilities in the is, free and open source software and other themes.
